Homecoming is always a special time of the year for the Miller Community. It a chance for new generations to follow the traditions of old. As always, coronation will be Monday night followed by the burning of the M. The Lady Rustlers will be hosting a home volleyball game on Tuesday vs. Redfield. (Check out the new concession options if you haven’t already!) On Thursday the marching band travels to Arlington for the East Central Marching Festival. Last year we were not lucky enough to have a home football game due to covid, but this year we are bringing it back home! The Rustlers will play Jim River Trappers Friday with kickoff at 7 p.m. The homecoming parade will start at 1:00 p.m. on Friday and the theme is “Holidays”. We will continue to show our spirit with dress up days for the week. The dress up days are as follows with a little bit of an explanation: Monday, Toga Day (garment of Ancient Rome which we will remake with white bed sheets); Tuesday, Hippie Day (throw it back to the 60’s style); Wednesday, Country vs. City (dress up as which side you prefer); Thursday, Mismatch Day (here is your chance to dress comfy and not worry about what matches!) and as always, Friday is Rustler Day! A new tradition the seniors have started this year is painting their own parking spots in the north parking lot! Good luck to volleyball, football and marching band. Let’s make this homecoming the best one yet!
