Why is everyone chasing me? 2022 Track Season

The 2022 track season is coming to a close. Track season has come and gone once again and the future is looking bright. The team has been working hard despite the weather practicing through rain, snow, and chilling temperatures. The first track meets had promising results. The Miller Track team won the Sully Buttes track meet having multiple meet records. The coaches consist of head coach Tom McGough and assistant coaches, Shae Knox, Carter Kindle, and Trey Tiefenthaler. Athletes on the track team are as follows: Freshman, Pierce Baumberger, Abby Boosma, Marshall Conkey, Gentry Harrell, Kellan Hurd, Dixon Knox, Colby Kolda, Morgan Kolda, Brayden Major, Madeline Nye, Aleah Schlechter; Sophomores, Davin Bossert, Breyden Campbell-Sterud, Joanlei Baker, Teagan Herrick, Emily Poindexter, Ian Speck, Alex Schumacher; Juniors Eric Ames, Dan Castro, Tyra Gates, Dylan Hass, Tricia Lammers, Ally Mullaney, Briggs Runge, Adam Turner, Jaden Werdel, Trevor Werdel; Seniors, Caden Gortmaker, Alana Howard, Noah Johnson, Andrew Knox, and Taya Pawlowski. The stats are Sara Jessen and Maya Howard.

Tom McGough had this to say about this year's track team. When asked how he thinks this track season is going? McGough replied, "I'm happy with the process individually, as well as collectively. Now the team has to focus on where we stand with individual events as far as state positions to set up for next year's season." Is there a word that pops into your head to describe this year's team? "Committed, a close second would be focused." Rustler Yearbook wishes the track team good luck in the remainder of their season!
